One of the many improvements in

Android OS 2.1

is a

3D Gallery application

. This is a neat feature that comes bundled with the new OS and gives you a cool new way to

view your photos

. Here we'll show you how to use the 3D gallery and walk you through some of the features.

Show Notes

- Your Android phone must be running the 2.1 operating system to have this feature.

- On your Android phone, tap the Gallery application.

- When it opens, you'll note a hazy background with your albums floating on top.

- As you move and rotate the phone, the orientation will change.

- If you tap on an album, it opens to reveal the photos.

- Turn the phone and the photo will turn at an angle.

- Tap on a picture to enlarge it.

- Tap on an enlarged picture and you get options for Slideshow and Menu.

- If you tap Menu, you get options for Share, Delete and More.

- If you tap Share, it will bring up a menu of every sharing program you have installed like email, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter and so on.

- If you tap Delete, you'll be prompted to delete the photo.

- If you tap More, you get a menu that will give in information on the picture, show the location on a map and you can set the image as your wallpaper.

- You can also crop the image and rotate it left or right.

- The 3D Gallery is very slick and easy to use.
