Show Notes

- Click on Start, then on Control Panel.

- In Control Panel click on Security and under Security click on

Parental Controls

.

- In Parental Controls just select the user you want and click to activate parental controls.

- Under Windows Settings you'll find

Windows Vista Web Filter

which lets you

control what sites are allowed, what can be downloaded

, and so on.

- Under time limits you can block any time period when you don't what the computer to be used.

- Under Games you can control games by rating, content, or by specific name.

- You can enter the name of games you want to allor or block.

- Under

Allow and block specific programs

you can elect to let the user access all programs or you can specify which programs are allowed.

- Lastly, Parental Controls can do Activity Reporting so you can see exactly what transpires on the computer.

- Parental Controls can be very useful for protecting your children on the Internet.
