When you're flying you know that they tell you to

turn off all electronic devices

like cell phones. Well, with your iPhone you have an

Airplane Mode

that shuts off all transmissions, but allows you to listen to music, watch videos, or listen to audiobooks.

- On your iPhone tap on Settings.

- In Settings tap on

Airplane Mode

to turn it on.

- When it's on notice how WiFi is set to off.

- If you go into General you'll see that Bluetooth is also turned off.

- In this way you can be in

compliance with the airlines

and yet still listen to music, audiobooks, and videos.

- When you turn

Airplane Mode

back off your WiFi and Bluetooth assume their normal settings.
