- Open Google Maps.
- On the top right, click on the green beaker that represents Google Labs.
- Now find Drag 'n' Zoom and click Enable.
- Now click Save Changes.
- In your map, you'll find the Drag 'n' Zoom icon just below the map slider.
- Click on it and the map will become gray.
- Now clear in the area you want to zoom and draw a square or rectangle.
- Let go of the mouse button and the maps zooms in.
