The iPhone 3G has a built in camera which offers some fun features. Your disembodied host voice, Andy Walker, runs down how to use the Camera and Photo applications to take pictures and do small edits. He also demonstrates how to set a favorite picture as your iPhone wallpaper.

Show Notes

- The camera on the iPhone 3G is a 2 megapixel camera. It's not of the highest quality but is sufficient for quick picture taking.

- Launch the Camera application by clicking on the appropriate on-screen icon.

- The camera's view is displayed on the main screen once activated.

- Click on the camera icon within the camera application to take a picture.

- Pictures are automatically saved to the Photos application.

- Click on the left-most icon on the bottom to see pictures you've taken.

- Tapping a picture opens a larger view.

- Scroll through pictures by dragging your finger from left to right or right to left on the touch screen.

- Touching a picture opens a small menu bar across the bottom.

- Tap the left-most icon for more options, including Use As Wallpaper. You can also email a photo or assign the picture to a contact in the address book.

- Size the picture by pinching or expanding.

- Tap on Set As Wallpaper.

- Upon start-up or whenever your iPhone locks, you'll see your picture.
