If you keep track of your family budget using software and / or if you bank online, you can avoid repetitive data entry chores by
importing financial data into TaxACT

- Before moving on to the Federal Q&A tab we want to talk about importing.
- Back on the Basic Info tab there is an Import option.
- If you click on this you'll see that TaxACT does have the ability to import data.
- In order to have the import function you'll need to upgrade to the Deluxe edition which costs $12.95.
- If you click on the "advance features and reports" link you'll see all of the other features that come along with the Deluxe edition of TaxACT.
- If you don't need to import you can just continue on.
