- At the Federal section, click Continue.

- Now you'll begin to enter your income information from W-2s and 1099s.

- The TurboTax income page covers everything from rental income to small business income and expenses.

- Across the top you see links to other pages, like Deductions and Credits. Click there.

- Click on Other Tax Situations to see other options.

- Click on Federal Review to review your entries.

- Click Error Check and if errors are found, you'll do a worksheet to find the errors.

- The Federal section of TurboTax is comprehensive and covers all situations.
