Show Notes

- First, place the Windows 7 DVD in the drive. Windows will begin to load files.

- If you don't see Windows booting up, then your computer may not be set to boot from an optical disc.

- If that's the case, you should watch this tutorial on changing boot order.

- Large hard drives have more than enough room for you to separate the hard drive into partitions.

- Once you are asked where you want to install Windows, you should click on Drive options (advanced). Click New.

- You will be prompted to create a new partition, which separates the drive into two logical drives. The physical hard drive remains the same size.

- Indicate how large a partition you want to create and click Apply.

- You'll see the two (or more) partitions listed. Select the partition you want to install to and click Next.
