Show Notes

The HTC HD7 is a new smartphone that uses the

Windows Phone 7 OS

. The 4.3-inch screen is touch-sensitive and capable of displaying a 480 x 800 resolution. There is no hardware keyboard so users will need to get used to using the onscreen keyboard.

The right side of the phone has a rocker for controlling volume as well as a camera button that is used to start the camera and take pictures. The bottom has a USB connector for charging and connecting to the computer, and there's also a headphone jack and a small microphone.

On the front of the phone, you'll see a back button, a search button, and a Windows button for getting to the menu. There are also two grills that serve as speakers on both the top and the bottom of the phone.

On the back of the phone, you'll find a 5MP camera that has an LED flash. There's also a guard over this camera that also serves as a kickstand for use when watching videos. You can also pry off the backing plate to access the SIM card or battery.
