If you already have a Google account, you're ready to start saving your own directions, favorites and way points to your account in Google Maps. While you can use Google Maps without a Google account, you won't be able to save your directions or locations for later.

To access Google Maps
- Click on Maps on the Google home page
or
- Go directly to maps.google.com
You can use Google Maps without a Google account. However, using your Google signin, you can do more with the service including saving your own way points and favorites.
- Click on signin at the top-right of the page.
- If you have an existing Google account, punch in your details.
Or
- Click on Create an account now and fill out the registration form.
- Click on Maps on the Google home page
