- Visit the JailbreakMe Web site on your computer to read about the process.
- To jailbreak your device, you need to visit the JailbreakMe site from your device.
- When you arrive at the site, you see the welcome screen.
- NOTE: You will NOT see the "Ooops" screen shown in the tutorial. We had to jailbreak the iPhone in order to record the screen, so that's why that message is showing.
- To jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, just move the slider on your device.
- You will see a progress bar and it only takes a few minutes.
- When it completes it tells you that a Cydia icon has been placed on the phone desktop and to Enjoy!
- Your device is jailbroken.
- The jailbroken device in the tutorials is an iPhone 3GS running iOS4.
