Just like Windows machines Mac's can gather junk files. Temporary files, Internet files, cache files, language files, and plenty more. To keep your Mac healthy and happy try giving it an occasional cleaning. With what you ask? Well, give CleanMyMac a try!

- Download CleanMyMac
- Once installed run the program.
- Click on the Preferences tab to set the things you want.
- Uncheck any language files that you don't want or need.
- Select the areas you want CleanMyMac to focus on.
- If you wish you can check the box to have CleanMyMac do a secure erase in which it will overwrite files a number of times.
- You can also have CleanMyMac check for updates daily or weekly and have it check on startup.
- Click the Scan tab when you're done in Preferences.
- Select the items you want to check and click Scan.
- When the scan has finished click the Remove button.
- If prompted, type in your user name and password.
- CleanMyMac will remove all the items it found.
