- You can edit the settings of what information about you is available when your friends use applications and websites.

- These options are in Privacy Settings under Applications and Websites.

- Everything checked can be shared about you when your friends use various applications and websites.

- Just uncheck the boxes next to the items that you don't want shared.

- You can also enable Instant Personalization, which means that sites that Facebook has partnered with can customize your experience based on your Facebook use.

- Just check the box at the bottom of the page to enable Instant Personalization or leave it unchecked to opt out.
