Show Notes

- Locking your iPhone with a numeric or alphanumeric code is a great way to keep others from accessing your files.

- On your iPhone, go to Settings, then select General and finally tap Passcode Lock.

- Tap Turn Passcode On to begin. You'll have to select a four-digit code and re-enter it to activate it.

- Turn Simple Passcode off if you want to use letters as well.

- You can also set the length of time before the password needs to be entered and choose to erase all data when a password has been entered incorrectly 10 times.

- Restore your password by plugging it into your computer and syncing it with iTunes.
