Everyone has a mental list of things that they need to get done. Sometimes these things are little, sometimes they get put off, but there are always some that need to be remembered. One way of doing just that is by using

Astrid on your Android phone

to

manage tasks

. You can even sync these tasks with

Remember the Milk

, another handy program used to help you

manage your to-do list

.

Show Notes

- Astrid is available in the Android Market and it's free!

- Whether you use Remember the Milk or not you can make good use of Astrid to manage tasks.

- Once installed tap on the icon for Astrid.

- By default the screen will be completely black. The task entry window is at the very bottom of the screen.

- Tap the text box and type in your task. When you're done tap the + sign.

- To edit, press your fingertip on an entry and hold it and a dialog will come up. Tap on Edit Task.

- Here you can set the priority, assign tags, set how long the task will take and so on.

- Tap on Dates at the top of the screen. Here you can set deadlines, choose whether to have the task repeat and more.

- Tap on Alerts at the top where you can set reminders.

- Tap on the menu key, select More and tap on Settings. Here you can adjust a variety of settings.

- If you tap on Synchronization you can tap the box to have Astrid sync with Remember the Milk.

- You can also have it auto-synchronize, clear personal data or sync now.
