- First, go to your Settings menu, which can be found near the bottom of the applications list by default.

- Tap Wi-Fi to find a Wi-Fi connection in your area. This will allow you to connect via Wi-Fi and save money on data rates.

- Back in the Settings menu, you also have the option of turning on airplane mode. This turns off all wireless communications and makes your phone safe for planes.

- Under cellular in the Settings menu, you can choose to turn off 3G connections, turn off data connections or change your data roaming options.

- Under Bluetooth in the Settings menu, you can choose to turn Bluetooth on. This will allow it to pair with Bluetooth devices.

- If you want to connect a Bluetooth device, first put that device into pairing mode and then select it from your Bluetooth connections menu.
