While it may take a little while to truly unlock the power of TextExpander, it won't take long for it to be a part of your daily workflow. You may find yourself coming up with all kinds of uses for

TextExpander and its Snippets

. That's when it becomes important to

manage and organize your TextExpander Snippets

.

Show Notes

- Open System Preferences and then click on the TextExpander icon.

- You can click the arrows to expand or contract a group of Snippets.

- If you wish you can create

new Groups

and put your

Snippets

in them based on your criteria.

- Click on the + sign and select New Group, type in a name for the Group.

- To delete a Group just click the - sign, verify you want to delete and you're done.

- You can sort your Snippets in a variety of ways to find the ones you're looking for.

- Sorting by "most recently used" will show you the Snippets you use most.

- You can also import Snippets from files available from the developer.
