If you use a mouse with your Mac you'll find that you have all kinds of configurable options. The famed (and sometimes maligned) Mighty Mouse gives you plenty of buttons and the Mouse options on the Mac give you lots of options to choose from.

- Click on System Preferences in the Dock or click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
- In System Preferences double-click on Keyboard and Mouse.
- Click on the second tab which is for the mouse.
- You can configure each of the buttons to suit your needs.
- The Mighty Mouse offers 4 buttons and each can have a unique function.
- You can also control scrolling with Vertical and Horizontal, Vertical only, 360 degree, or turn scrolling off.
- You can also control the speed of Tracking, Scrolling, and Double-Click.
- In addition, you can set a hot key to zoom when using the scroll ball.
