- To open the mixer, click on the view mixer button at the top of the main

FL Studio workspace

.

- To spread sounds across the mixer board, double-click on the sample you wish to send to its own channel on the mixer board to open the channel settings window.

- In the top-right of the channel mixer, click and drag the track selector to set the channel to its own mixer slot.

- You can also use the menu in the channel settings window to assign the channel to a free mixer track.

- If you've cloned channels in the sequencer, send them to the same mixer track to ensure they receive the same processing.

- Make sure none of your channels peak into the red.

- Each channel has its own volume control and pan knob.

- Mute or solo a channel by clicking the appropriate LED.

- Select a channel and use the equalizer in the bottom right to affect the sound.

- Choose a channel and select and effect from the right-hand effects menu to process that channel and alter its sound.
