Show Notes

- Under Android OS 2.2 Froyo, applications can be moved from device memory to SD card.

- Developers, however, have to enable this in their software.

- Until that happens, there are some programs in Android Market that can be used to move apps to your Secure Digital card.

- In our tutorial, we used Apps 2 SD.

- When you run the program, it finds all the apps that can be moved out of device memory.

- Tap on the one you want to move.

- Now tap Move to SD Card.

- The app will now be moved and the button will say Move to Phone in case you want to move it back.

- Moving apps to storage frees up device memory.
