- You can get Multimedia content in Gmail by using some Labs functions.

- Click on Settings and then on Labs.

- Scroll down and enable YouTube previews in Gmail.

- Also enable Picasa, Flickr, Yelp and other previews in Gmail.

- Click Save Changes.

- You can now see previews of content from YouTube, Picasa, Flickr and Yelp when links are contained in your Gmail.
