In this episode, we'll show you how to
multitask on your iPad
. Now that you'veinstalled iOS 4.2
on your iPad you now have the ability to bring up themultitasking menu
, which allows you tomanage your iPad applications
. We'll also show you how tocreate folders on your iPad

- To activate multitasking, double-tap the menu button below the screen.
- Swipe through the multitasking menu to see all of the apps that are currently installed or open on your iPad. Scroll all the way left for player controls.
- Also on the player controls screen are volume controls and brightness controls, as well as an orientation lock button so the orientation won't change if the iPad is moved.
- To close a program on the multitasking menu, just tap and hold on one of the items until they start to shake. You'll see a red icon appear on each of the applications, which you can tap to close each one.
- To create folders, just hold your finger down on an item until they all begin to shake. Now, just drag one onto another and both will be put into a folder, which you may rename if you want.
