Show Notes

- Note: Before beginning this series please view the complete Gmail 101 series and the complete Gmail 201 series.

- There may be times when you'd like to send a message that consists of only the Subject.

- Quick little messages like, "How about lunch?" or "Do you want to get coffee?".

- If you try to do this, however, when you click Send, Gmail pops up a dialog asking if you really want to send an email with an no body text.

- Then you have to click OK or Cancel.

- If, however, you put (EOM), which stands for "End Of Message" at the end, you can send your message immediately.

- So by typing, "How about lunch? (EOM)" and clicking Send, your one-line message is on the way!
