- Go to Foxmarks.com and click Install Now.
- When the plugin has installed, and you have restarted Firefox, you'll need to register for an account. You'll need to provide a valid email address because they will send you a verification email.
- Once you have set up your account and log in for the first time, you'll need to let Foxmarks know how to handle your bookmarks.
1. Merge data on the server with data on your computer.
2. Keep data on the server; discard data on your computer.
3. Discard data on the server, keep data on your computer.
When you have Foxmarks installed on more than one computer, this feature allows you to keep the bookmarks you currently have stored on other machines, and replace or merge that information on the computer you are presently installing to so nothing is lost.
- Once Foxmarks has finished synchronizing, you'll be notified, then can check your bookmarks right away.
- If you are ever at a computer that does not have Foxmarks installed, you can easily access your data by logging into your account online.
