- Visit the Evernote web site to sign up for a free account.
- You can Download
Evernote for BlackBerry here.
- You can also download it from BlackBerry App World.
- Once the program is installed on your BlackBerry you're ready to access your Evernote data.
- Highlight the program icon and press the trackball.
- The main screen has four options which include Text Note, Snapshot, Audio Note, and Upload File. You can also search existing data.
- Highlight Text Note and press the trackball.
- You can enter a subject, body, select which notebook you want the note to go to, pick from existing tags or type in new ones.
- When you're ready just click the BlackBerry menu key, select Save Note, and press the trackball. Your note is immediately uploaded to your Evernote database.
- Highlight Snapshot and press the trackball. Your BlackBerry camera will come up so you can take a photo.
- Click the BlackBerry menu key and select Save. You can then put in a title, body, select a notebook, and also select from tag.
- Press the BlackBerry menu key and select Save Note and the photo is immediately uploaded.
- Highlight the Audio Note icon and click the trackball.
- Click the trackball again to record and click it again to stop. Click the BlackBerry menu key and select Save Note.
- Once again you can add a title, body, tags, and pick a notebook. Click the BlackBery menu key and select Save Note and your audio note is uploaded.
- The Upload File option lets you pick a file from your BlackBerry and upload it to your Evernote database.
- Lastly you can use the Search bar to search any existing content in your Evernote database.
