Hotmail offers the ability to personalize the appearance of your Hotmail page. In this episode we'll show you how can customize the look of your page.

Sign up for Windows Live Hotmail

- To add your photo to your Windows Live Hotmail account click on your name at the top right of the mail page.

- A drop down menu will appear. Select Change picture.

- Browse your hard drive for the photo and select it. You can re-size the photo and then click Save under the thumbnail on the left side of the page.

- Hotmail also allows you to create a profile with topics like Favorite Things, Social, Work Info, etc. Under each heading is an edit link that will allow you to update these areas.

- Note: This is not mandatory to use Hotmail.

- To change the theme of your mail from you Windows Live Hotmail home page click the Options button under your name at the top right of the page.

- Hovering over the themes will allow you to preview them. Once you've found the one you like you can click to select it.

- To change the layout of the page go back to Options and select either Right Bottom or Off.
