Lucas turns his pimpin' attention to the oft overlooked media players. As one of the easiest pimp mods to add to your system, he goes through the process for skinning Windows Media Player, WinAmp and even iTunes with custom skins. If you're like us, your media player is one of your most used applications. Stop having a boring media player, stop having a boring life.

Show Notes

Windows Media Player

- In Windows Media Player, go to View and select Skin Chooser.

- Click on More Skins to go to the WMP skins site to choose and download.

- Double-click a downloaded skin to install.

- Click on View now to see your new skin.

- Check out more Windows Media Player Skins.

WinAmp

- WinAmp has a ton of skins to choose from.

- With WinAmp open, right click to get the menu.

- Go to Skins and choose 'Get More Skins!' to go to the WinAmp skins site.

- To enact Lucas' Random Pimp, right click on the player, go to Options, Preferences, select Skins from the left-side table of contents and check the box for Random skin on play

iTunes

- Go to itunes-skins.com to view and download a skin.

- Close out iTunes as you can't change the skin when it's running.

- Double-click your downloaded skin and follow the steps to install.

- Run iTunes to see your new pimped-out media player.
