Playing back shows and movies on Boxee

With the Boxee box, it's easy for you to find the videos that you want. There are a number of different ways to sort your results depending on whether you're trying to find television shows or movies.

If you select Shows, you'll see a list of shows that you can watch. You can scroll through these or go to the small icons besides the title to see other sort options. The first button allows you to

view by newest, oldest, most popular or alphabetically

. The second button allows you to switch between list mode and a tiled view.

Select a show that you want to watch and you'll see a list of available episodes. Pick one of these and you'll likely see a web browser pop up, bringing you to a website where you can watch the selected episode.

Browsing movies to watch on Boxee

is much the same as browsing TV shows. Just go to Movies and you'll see the movies listed. These can be sorted in a number of ways and you can easily start watching one by simply clicking on it.

While watching a video, you can choose to watch it in full screen, change volume or scroll back and forth through the video. Tap Leave Browser when you want to exit. Now, using the remote for this can be awkward at times so you may want to consider hooking up a mouse and keyboard.
