Winamp has been around for a long time, making it easy to keep music collections organized, to create playlists, to listen to online radio and more. With all the improvements Winamp has received over the years, it's a mature music player and a great alternative to iTunes or Windows Media Player.

Download Winamp and follow along
with our tutorial series



- Open Winamp, select and song and click on Play in the title bar.

- You have a range of options ranging from playing the highlighted song to jumping 10 track forward, 10 tracks back and more.

- Right click on a song and click Enqueue selection.

- This puts selections up in the playlist editor where they will be played later.

- If you wish you can remove the entire playlist or parts of it, or you can turn it into a regular playlist.

- Winamp shows you cover art and gives you links on the bottom to content online, like videos on YouTube.

- While your music is playing you can toggle things like the equalizer or visualizations to make playing your music even more fun.
