Sometimes you search the Internet and you're not really sure what you're searching for. You start typing in a word and hope it's the right one. Now, in Internet Explorer 8 you get suggestions when you search. Type in a few characters and you can get a feeling as to if you're on the right track. Searches also contain visual elements so you can see some of the things you're searching for.

- The search bar in Internet Explorer 8 is at the top, right-hand corner of the screen right across from the address bar.

- As you start to type you'll immediately start to get results.

- Some of your results will be accompanied by pictures.

- If you type the name of any city and follow it with the word 'weather' you'll actually get the weather for that city.

- As you type click on any result to be taken to that result page.

- Microsoft has teamed with sites like Amazon, Wikipedia, and others to bring you more visual content in your searches.
