- In your Windows Live home page click on More and then

Family Safety

.

- In the

Family Safety

area download the

safety program

and install it on each computer that you want to monitor.

- Each child must have their own Windows Live ID.

- It saves time in the

Family Safety

setup if you've created the children's Windows Live ID first, but there is a function that will take you to create new ID's.

- You can set limits on Web browsing and use a Basic, Strict, or Custom level.

- You can turn on activity reporting and determine which computer you want the report for.

- You can also determine a range of dates for the report and you can also have the report only show blocked content.

- When you're done making changes you can click Save to keep your changes.

- You can turn contact management for children only so you can monitor who they're dealing with online.

gives you a way to set some boundaries for your children and to keep tabs on them when they're online.
