Common application / Windows shortcuts
- Copy: Ctrl + C.
- Cut: Ctrl + X.
- Paste: Ctrl + V.
- Undo: Ctrl + Z.
- Select all: Ctrl + A.
- Move Insertion Point: Ctrl and Arrow keys.
- Highlight a block of text: Ctrl and Shift with Arrow keys.
- Open the shortcut menu for the active window: Alt and Spacebar.
- Close the active item, or quit the active program: Alt and F4.
- Create a copy of a file in Windows: Ctrl + mouse click and drag.
- Rename a selected file or folder: F2.
- View properties of a selected file of folder: Alt + Enter.
- Delete an item without sending it to the recycle bin: Shift + Delete.
