There's been a lot of talk about the new Kindle from Amazon. If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, however, you can read eBooks too with Stanza. Stanza is also available for the Mac and PC desktop.

Download Stanza for iPhone or iPod Touch

- Install Stanza on your iPhone or iPod Touch and on your desktop.

- On your desktop you can download free

eBooks

from a variety of sites on the Internet.

- Click File and then Open to open a book.

- You can click File and then Open Recent to open books you've had open recently.

- Stanza allows you to

share ebooks

between your desktop and your iPhone or iPod Touch.

- Click on Tools and then Enable Sharing to do this.

- Once sharing is enabled you'll see your desktop computer, be it Mac or Windows, on your iPhone/iPod Touch.

- You can also see any books that reside on the desktop.

- To transfer a book from the desktop to the iPhone/iPod Touch just tap it, tap Download, and the book will be on your device.

- Stanza is a great way to read books on your desktop and your iPhone or iPod Touch.
