After your
Google AdWords ad campaign
has run for a little while, it will start to gather some pretty detailed data. Using this data, you can seewhich Google AdWords ads are most effective

- Sign into your Google Adwords account
- To refine your campaigns, click on the campaign you want to work on.
- Click on the Ad Group.
- Click Ads tab.
- You can now see the information about each of your ads.
- % Served tells you how often a specific ad has run.
- Click tells you how many times people have clicked that ad to go to the website.
- Impr. is short for impressions and tells you how many times the ad has been viewed.
- CTR stands for click through ratio and tells you what percentage of people who saw your ad clicked through to your site.
- Cost is how much money each ad has cost you up to this point.
- To pause an ad that is not working well, click on the green icon next to the name of the ad.
- Select pause.
- You can now either create a brand new ad or modify an existing ad.
- Click New Ad button.
- Select Text ad.
- Information for your previous ad will be in the fields. From here, you can either delete the ad and start anew, or modify it to make it better.
- Click Save Ad.
- You'll see that the Status now says Pending review. This means that Google will review the ad before it goes live.
