UPDATE: Facebook has begun rolling out new and simplified privacy settings for some users. Many of the tips in this series still directly apply however.
- If you have your Facebook account set up to receive email notifications when someone comments on your profile then you can now respond to them directly through email.
- You can access the email notifications settings through My Account and the Notifications tab.
- This is useful if you are in a place where you don't want to access Facebook's main page.
- When you receive a notification, you can respond to their message through email and it will post as if it were posted through Facebook.
