due to the extra control it gives you over your handset. In this tutorial, we show youhow to root your Android phone
using theSamsung Galaxy S
as an example. The method we use also allows you tounroot your Android

- In our tutorial, we used a Samsung Galaxy S but there are a number of Android phones that can be rooted using these steps.
- First, go to 4shared.com.
- In the search bar, type in z4root.apk and open the link that appears.
- Once the file is downloaded, just open and install it.
- You'll be asked whether you want to do a

- When you select permanent root, your phone will reboot, though the process may take some time. Once it reboots, it will be rooted.
- Load the z4root.apk file again to either reroot or unroot your phone.
