GreenPrint
- Install the program and you'll find that it becomes the computer's default printer.
- GreenPrint acts as a buffer between you and your printer so you can print more of what you want and much less of what you don't want.
Printing a web page
- Click File then Print and you'll see that GreenPrint comes up as your default printer.
- GreenPrint analyzes what you asked to print and when it's done it shows that the "page" we're printing in our test case is actually going to use three sheets of paper.
- With GreenPrint you can right-click and say Remove page on any pages you don't need or want printed.
- If you want to print a page of text and remove the images you can do that or you can do the reverse and print a page of images with all the text removed.
- GreenPrint is a great way for you to save paper, ink, money and trees.

Pretty nice. But another utility is FinePrint (not free) and it allows you to control the layout a bit more. Things like 2-up or 4-up. The built in PDF for Green Print is really nice.
