There are a number of ways that you can
conserve battery power on your iPhone

- Go to Settings and you'll be able to turn Wi-Fi off to conserve battery power when you don't need to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
- Under General in Settings, you can also set the Auto-Lock time to a lower amount so it will automatically lock and reduce battery usage after a period of time.
- You can also turn off notifications in Settings to further reduce battery usage.
- Push email also eats up battery and can be turned off from Mail, Contacts, Calendars under Fetch New Data.
- Optionally, you can also change how often your iPhone tries to push email.
