for various subjects and topics. We'll also show you

how to save your searches

so you can quickly see your results whenever you want. You can also

browse popular trends

on Twitter so you can see what your fellow Twitter users are talking about.

Show Notes

- Twitter is a good place to find news on events around the world or in your area.

- You can search for a particular subject by typing it into the search box near the top.

- You'll see tweets from everyone in the world so long as their tweets are made public.

- By searching a topic you'll see what people are saying about it, including new sources with Twitter accounts.

- Save your search by clicking the button near the top that says Save this search.

- If you do so you'll be able to look up that search by selecting it from the Searches tab.

- You can also remove any of these searches by clicking the button marked Remove saved search.

- The Trends list to the right shows you what's popular in your area so you can quickly get tweets on that topic.
