Searching with Yahoo
Before it grew to offer the array of services it does today, Yahoo search was Yahoo's killer app... by virtue of the fact that search was its only app. Times have changed and Yahoo now offers a wide array of other online services too, but its powerful search engine still stands and is sure to help you find what you're looking for.

- At the top of Yahoo's main page is the search engine.
- Type what you are looking for in the field. As you type your search, Yahoo offers some suggestions as to what you might be looking for.
- After you've searched you can see related searches by clicking the arrow button under the search field.
- To do an image search click on the 'Images' link above the search text field.
- Image search also allows you to narrow down the size, and look of the photos you are searching for with choices like 'Wallpaper' 'large' 'small' or 'Black & White' vs. 'Color'. These are located on the right side of the image search page.
- Clicking on the image will take you to the web page that the picture is hosted on.
- From there you 'View image' 'Mail to friend' or 'Save' the image on your computer.
