- If enabled, your public search profile will appear when people search for you on search engines.

- To turn this on or off and see a preview of what will appear, go to Privacy Settings and click on Edit your settings under Applications and Websites.

- Down at the bottom of the page, you'll see Public search. Click on Edit Settings.

- If you have the box checked then items that you have made public in your profile could be visible in search results from search engines like Google.

- You can see a preview of what others will see by clicking on See preview.

- You can choose to opt out of this by unchecking the box or, if you simply don't like what appears as public, you can return to your privacy settings and see the things you have made public by scanning the Everyone section.

- Simply click on Customize settings and change the things you don't want seen from Everyone to your desired setting.
