. Our goal is to show you the best ways currently available and not bog you down with terminology.

WEP, WPA, WPA1, WPA2, LEAP, TKIP

- Even beyond these protocols there are other ways to protect your network and we'll cover those in episodes that follow.

there are, but make you aware of the ones which will serve you best.

- In router under Security you can find options to block requests that come from the Internet.

- You can filter multicast content that comes from your ISP.

- Help is always available right within the router to clarify terms and tell you what each option is for.

- Under Wireless Security in your router you'll see what options your router supports.

- What you have available will depend on your equipment and how old it is.

- Wireless security is constantly improving.

- We feel that WPA2 is currently the best and most secure protocol for protecting your wireless network.
