Do you ever get phone calls you don't want from numbers you don't know? Really? Never? Well if it ever happens, you can easily choose to

send calls straight to voicemail

on your Android phone. This works great for telemarketers, bill collectors, pestering parents or pretty much anyone with a phone number.

Show Notes

- You can drag the call reject slider to send any call straight to voicemail. However, there's also a way to always send a caller straight to voicemail without your phone even ringing.

- Open your Contacts application and look for the contact whose calls you want to dodge.

- Tap to open the contact and you'll see all their numbers and information listed. Note that this method will block calls coming from any of these numbers.

- Tap the Settings button and then tap Options.

- Here, you'll see an option to set a custom ringtone, which we've covered in a previous tutorial, and an option to send incoming calls straight to voicemail.

- Tap the box to place a check mark. Now, any time that contact tries to call, they'll get sent to voicemail and your phone won't ring.
