Once you've divided your
Google Voice contacts
into "Groups" you cancreate unique voicemail greetings
for each group. That means you can set acustom voicemail greeting
for your family, another for your friends and another for your colleagues.Download this episode now

- You can
- Click on the General tab and by Voicemail Greet select New Custom Greeting.
- Click Add and Google Voice asks you to give the new greeting a name.
- Google calls the phone and prompts you to record your message.
- Record your message and then press # when you're done.
- Google Voice plays back your message to see if it's okay.
- If it is you press 1, if not you press 2 to record it over.
- When you've pressed 1 you can hang up.
- Now you can click on the Groups tab.
- Select the group you recorded the message for and assign it to that group.
- Click Save and you're done.
