Show Notes

In order to connect to a network with the

HP TouchPad

, you'll need to use either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. While there is talk of support for cellular connections down the road, at the moment, the TouchPad doesn't support that feature.

To get connected, you'll need to tap the button in the upper-right. Tap the Wi-Fi button to turn Wi-Fi on if it is not already on. You should see available networks appear below, but if you don't you can always go into Wi-Fi preferences to see them. Find the network you want to connect to and tap it. Enter a password if necessary and you will then be connected.

Bluetooth works in much the same way. Turn on Bluetooth and then tap on preferences to configure Bluetooth. Tap Add device and you will see that by default the HP TouchPad will look for audio devices. Tap Audio to see other options. Tap webOS phone to connect to a network through your webOS phone. At the same time, you'll need to set your phone to be discoverable via Bluetooth before connecting with your HP TouchPad. You'll also need to tap Allow on your phone in order to complete the connection.
