- To get started using foursquare, first install it from the Apple App Store.

- You'll have to create an account if you don't already have one.

- You will first be asked whether foursquare can use your current location. Click OK if you want foursquare to easily find locations around you.

- Next add your personal information including your name, phone number, email address and gender.

- You're now set up and can move on to adding friends, locations and more!
