If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then pictures have never been more useful than they are on Twitter, with its 140-character posting limit. Molly McDonald demonstrates how to share a picture with your Twitter network using TwitPic, Flickr or Photobucket. In fact, if you're already on Twitter, you don't even need to sign up for TwitPic; you have a login!

Show Notes

- Visit TwitPic.

- Sign in with your Twitter username and password.

- Click on Upload photo to upload a picture to TwitPic.

- Browse to an image on your computer and fill in the Add a message box.

- If you only want to post to TwitPic as opposed to also sending out a tweet with your photo, check the appropriate box.

- If the box remains unchecked, your photo will simultaneously be posted to Twitter with your caption as the tweet.

Upload photos to Twitter on your cell phone

- Click on Settings.

- Fill in a PIN number.

- From your device, send an email with a picture attached to username.PIN#@twitpic.com

- When viewing your photos on TwitPic, you can see how many people have viewed your pic, see or leave comments and add tags to a picture.
