Pt. 3 of 5 | 2:02 |

Introducing Google+

Wednesday July 27, 2011
As with other

social networking services, Google+

allows you to

share posts and media

with your various contacts. Unique to this service is the ability to share with certain circles and leave others excluded. You'll also be able to control who gets to comment and whether or not others can reshare, giving you more

control over your privacy

Show Notes

- When you want to share something on Google+, you can choose to only share it with certain circles. Doing so means that contacts from other circles won't be able to see your post.

- You have several options when sharing images. You can add photos, create an album or share pics from your phone. You can also simply drag a picture into the share box.

- When sharing, you also have the option of whether or not to notify those included as to your post.

- Once your post is up, you'll have several options accessible from the drop-down menu, available by clicking the button in the upper-right. You can, of course, edit or delete your post, but you can also choose to disable comments or disable sharing so people can't share your post.

- Whenever you're logged in to Google, you'll see a notification button in the toolbar at the top. This will let you know if anyone has shared something with you over Google+.

- You'll also find a box that says Share... which you can use to share things when logged in to any of your Google services.
