It's hard to share web pages that have really long addresses via email or instant message. It can also confuse the message recipient. TinyURL makes it easy to shrink a URL to something more manageable and understandable.

- Copy the long URL from your browser's address bar.
- Go to TinyURL.com and paste the address into the box on the front page.
- Click on the 'Make TinyURL!' button.
- On the next page you'll be given a new, much shorter URL to share with your friends.
