Sign up for a craigslist account
You don't need to have an account on craigslist to view items for sale, jobs being offered or any of the other categories listed. You can even post on craigslist without having an account. However, an account makes it easy to track your craigslist listings and offers some other benefits too.

- You don't need to have an account to browse listings or even to post your own.
How to create a craigslist account
- Click on My account.
- Near the bottom of the log-in form, select Click here to sign up.
- Enter a valid email address and enter the authentication information in the appropriate fields.
- Open the email address that you used to sign up to find an authentication email from
craigslist. Click on the appropriate link in the message body.
- On the web page that opens,
choose a good password.
- Hit the button to Submit Password and Log In.
- Read and accept the terms of use.
In your craigslist account page:
- Click on settings to choose your default location, change the length of time you stay logged in.
- Click on Save.

Craigslist is a huge repository of information and
classified ads for everything from a new bike to a new job. However, the sheer number of ads being posted every day mean that it's up to the
craigslist community in part to make sure posts are on-point. Every
craigslist listing has the option to
flag as inappropriate. And if you find a post you know a friend will be interested in, it's easy to
email a craigslist post too.

craigslist, there's some very funny stuff to be read. In addition to
flagging posts as inappropriate, users can also mark them for consideration as the "
best of craigslist." If you don't mind some non-PG humor (must be 18 or older to read) there's some funny stuff to be had on the
